February 27 - There was no green bait available at Colorado Lagoon and therefore no opaleye fishing. Will try again after the nexdt rainfall in L.A.
February 20 - Hike Indian Truck Trail to the pine trees. Only took 4 hours up and then 2 hours down. photos
February 13 - First opaleye trip of the year. First fishing trip in new Jeep. report
February 7 - Tested new Jeep at Lytle Creek. All the high tech 4x4 gadgets on the Rubicon are awesome! Has 4H Auto for regular dirt roads. In 4L you can switch to Offroad Plus and push the Select-Speed Control to have the computer rock crawl for you at .5 mph. Also you can lock the rear differential or lock both differentials. photo
January 30 - 7-hour hike from my 'hood to the next 'hood north. photos

Training for three objectives this year:
January 9 - 5-mile hike through the 'hood. Last month I drove a loop out the back way and in the front way. I jotted down every half-mile so that when I hiked it, I could keep track of the time between each. photos
